Welcome to our breeding stud of Karachay horses, the largest stud in Europe.
In 2004 and 2005, Josef Entlich imported a herd of 18 breeding mares and three breeding stallions directly from Malokarachayevskiy stud to Chřebřany. After almost 20 years, another 2 unrelated stallions and 2 pregnant mares were imported to Chřebřany. We try to raise our horses in conditions that are as natural as possible for them, which means enough space and time for their physical and psychological development. They have an excellent origin, documented until the beginning of the 20th century. All our horses are registered in the Russian Stud Book.

The Karachay is an all-round horse and has high ambitions in all sports disciplines. He is extremely intelligent and needs some meaningful activity for his mental and physical health. Karačájevec itself is the embodiment of all the power and energy of wild nature, which is really rare these days. No terrain is an obstacle, they are truly masters of survival.
A condition (applicable to horses in general and ours in particular) is sensitive but consistent education and training.

We can guarantee the origin of the horses verified and checked directly by the people who keep the studbook in Russia, the horses have time to grow up and mature with us.
They are truly genuine horses who consider a person a friend to whom they are happy to entrust their lives. And they are like saffron in Europe.
Our goal is clear – to keep their natural resistance, stamina and intelligence at the best level. With proper handling and care, Karachay horses retain their working abilities into old age.
The environment in which the horse lives is also important, it needs adequate pastures with some horse friend(s). Only a few horse breeds can compete with the Karachay’s metabolism.
